65th Festival of Sport - Archery Tournament will be held closed-door on 14 and 15 May, 21 and 22 May at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground. Apart from recurve bow, which is an Olympic event, the compound bow is also included in this competition. Do you know the difference between them?

For recurve bow, it requires accuracy and stability. It is simple and easy to handle as the traditional bow. Recurve archers usually use some small essential accessories, instead of complex equipment. On the other hand, the compound bow is composed of eccentric cams and pulleys. The archer can aim at the target easily with less effort.
