65^th Festival of Sport (FOS) Signature Event - Gymnastics Fun Day will be held on 28 August (Sunday) at Plaza Hollywood. Let us introduce the Rhythmic Gymnastics before enjoying the demonstrations to be performed by Hong Kong athletes and participating in sport trial of different gymnastics discipline. 

Rhythmic Gymnastics is a sport discipline that gymnasts will perform freehand or with hand apparatuses with music accompaniment. There are currently five apparatuses used in official competitions, namely rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon. According to individual style and the requirements under the competition rules, gymnasts may combine a variety of single movements, such as rotation, roll, figure 8, throw/catch, into a complete choreography, emphasizing the suppleness, elegance and softness of movements, as well as a touch of feminine glamour.

Apart from Rhythmic Gymnastics, participants can also take part in Trampoline and Aerobic Gymnastics sport trial under the guidance of experienced Gymnastics coaches.

65^th Festival of Sport - Gymnastics Fun Day will be opened for registration on 16 August (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. The details are as follows: 

Date: 28 August 2022 (Sunday)

Time: 13:00 – 18:00

Venue: Plaza Hollywood

Fee: Free of charge

Pre-registration quota: 10 people per Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aerobic Gymnastics session, 6 people per Trampoline session

Registration date and time: 16 August 2022 (Tuesday) 10 a.m. – 26 August 2022 (Friday) 12noon (Registration will close when the quota is full)
