66^th Festival of Sport (FOS) – Hong Kong Softball Carnival had successfully organized at Tin Kwong Road Softball Field on 6 May 2023 (Saturday).

The Opening Ceremony of Hong Kong Softball Carnival was officiated by Mr. WONG Chun Cheong, President of Hong Kong Softball Association, Mr. LEE Chong Fai, Vice Present of Hong Kong Softball Association cum Commissioner of Hong Kong Softball Carnival, together with Mr. HO Hin Ming, Chairman of Kowloon City District Council, Mr. CHAN Yat Kin, Sr Liaison Offr of Kowloon City District Office, and Mr. CHAN Wai Ho, 66th FOS Ambassador.

Other than softball batting and pitching trials, there were handcraft workshops and neon light phone zones in the carnival. Participants would get a stamp after participating in designated booths and to redeem snacks, balloons or FOS souvenirs by collecting different stamps. They would also be awarded a prize voucher after completing a mission to redeem souvenir prepared by the Hong Kong Softball Association. Due to adverse weather conditions on Sunday, the carnival and demonstration match were cancelled by Hong Kong Softball Association in the afternoon to ensure the safety for the participants and coaches.
