The 66th Festival of Sport (FOS) – Summer Indoor Rowing Festival had successfully organized at The FOREST on 24 June 2023 (Saturday).

The Opening Ceremony of the Summer Indoor Rowing Festival was officiated by Mr. Ronnie WONG, BBS, JP, Chairperson of FOS Organizing Committee, Mr. YU Kin Keung, Edward, JP, Dist Offr (Yau Tsim Mong), Mr. Mike TANNER, BBS, MH, President of Hong Kong, China Rowing Association, Mr. NG Kong Wan, Chairman of Hong Kong, China Rowing Association, and Mr. Edmond Yiu, Supervisor of Culture, Sports & Arts Division, Hong Kong Playground Association, together with Miss. Cythia Lok, 66th FOS Ambassador.

There were several game booths, including 1-minute Challenge and VR rowing experience, which was a brand new experience to the participants. They can also feel the fun brought by technology and sports. In addition to the rowing experience, there were also watermark sticker booth, rowing displays, rowing sports promotion clips, and photo exhibitions set up in the venue, attracting a large number of visitors to stop by and experience it firsthand. Parents and children can even participated in "parent-child races" on the spot, spending a fun and energetic holiday together.
