The 68th Festival of Sport (FOS) maintained its summer momentum with its final enhanced event, Flying Disc Fun Day, held on Saturday (21 June 2025) at Tai Hang Tung Playground. The community event attracted enthusiastic families and friends, transforming the venue into a vibrant space filled with energy, laughter, and sporting spirit, while offering a unique athletic experience to the community.

The event offered participants a blend of competition and joyful experiences, featuring a variety of flying disc and dodge disc experience booths. These included the Tic-Tac-Toe flying disc challenge, Disc Golf Target Throw, and the exhilarating Dodge Disc Tag game. Each activity provided a fun and accessible way for people to explore this emerging sport. Guided by instructors, attendees of all ages and skill levels eagerly joined in, grasping the basic techniques of both flying disc and dodge disc while enhancing coordination. Parents and children broke a sweat together as they experienced teamwork through the games. The lively event brimmed with laughter and applause, showcasing the appeal of flying disc sports.

More Summer Sports Fun to Come

FOS will continue offering a variety of activities throughout June and July, including competitions, fun days, and sports demonstrations featuring water sports, ball games, and family-friendly events. In August, special events will be held to mark the “Sport for All Day”. People of all ages and interests are encouraged to stay active, cultivate healthy habits, and explore new sporting passions, while immersing themselves in the energy and joy of summer through FOS activities.
