The 64th Festival of Sport (FOS), organized by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) and subvented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department, with the support from Hong Kong China Rowing Association to co-organize the 64th Festival of Sport Summer Rowing Festival at VESSEL 03 today (18 July). The carnival, which was the last event co-organized by the Festival of Sport and National Sports Associations (NSAs), uplifted the sporting atmosphere to welcome the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and encouraged sports for all ages.


FOS Summer Rowing Festival – kids and families enjoyed quality time with sports
The 64th FOS Summer Rowing Festival was held successfully today (18 July) at VESSEL 03 in Kwun Tong. Kids and families enjoyed quality time playing sports and participated actively at the event, together to uplift the sporting atmosphere to welcome the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Participants also had the opportunity to take a closer look at the racing boat and take pictures at the “BIG Rowing Exhibition” to gain unique sports experience.

Meanwhile, to welcome the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, 64th FOS Exhibition Tour arrived final stop at Olympian City 2, starts from today to 8th August, for a showcase of various pieces of valuable collections related to sports and Olympics. Public may get a “Move Together to Countdown to the Olympic Games – Advent Calendar” on site by following FOS newly launched Instagram page. The “Move Together to Countdown to the Olympic Games – Advent Calendar” combined online and offline elements. One Olympic sports and one fitness exercise will be shown after unveiling the calendar. Participants may refer to the information of the sports and the details and demonstration of the fitness exercise on fos.hkolympic.org. Moreover, public can take photos with the mascot of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and upload to their social media platforms with a cheering message for Hong Kong athletes by 5th August with tagging FOS Facebook or Instagram and show the screen with staff onsite, they also can get a souvenir of Tokyo 2020 made by SF&OC. Limited souvenirs will be distributed on first-come-first-served basis.
