Bank of China (Hong Kong) 53rd Festival of Sport - Mass Participatory Events
The Festival of Sport has come to its 53rd anniversary! To further spread out the message of “Sport for All”, the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) joins hands with District Sports Associations and National Sports Associations to organize three newly introduced mass participatory events for promoting the message of healthy lifestyle.
Launched by SF&OC, the dancesport performance and contest at Discovery Park in Tsuen Wan on 30th May 2010 is the pioneer in a series of amazing events. The floor boards used in the East Asian Games will be adopted for the first time for performance in the public. The performance by the groups of the awarded and top athletes of the East Asian Games must bring the atmosphere to a high tide.
The mass participatory events enter a culminated stage which Fitness Promotion Day will be held at Paradise Mall in Hang Fa Chuen on 13th June 2010. Citizens from all walks of life can take part in the physical fitness test and games. More than that, the former Wushu champion Ms. LI Fai will have a Chinese Tai Chi performance on the event day. Don’t miss a chance to do the fitness exercise with our Festival of Sport ambassadors.
On the same day, Soccer Fun Day will also be held at Telford Plaza in Kowloon Bay. The participants can play soccer games and quiz with MC on stage and a number of soccer games booths will also be set up for excitement.
